Dear Mom,
You’ve reached an amazing stage in your life, one that I see as a new beginning, or more of a time to “fertilize” all the seeds you’ve planted in the last 30+ years. Your spiritual life has grown exponentially in the last five years and we all think you have so much to share with the world and your community. I thought a blog would be the perfect way to start “reaching” your peers and the world itself – you can use this as a platform to voice your everyday thoughts, write interpretations of bible passages, recount stories from y0ur trips abroad, network/share with your women’s group, and basically record anything you’d like to share with the world that is “on your heart.”
Speaking of hearts, yours is immense and beautiful and shines on everyone you meet – and Emily, Abs and I think the rest of the world is ready for it, too.
We love you! You and Dad are at such an exciting turning point in your lives. Enjoy every moment of this new chapter. (Oh and call me so I can walk you through this – it is really very easy, I promise!!!) One more thing – the colors are probably “not it” yet – so we can adjust both the design and colors so it is perfect for you!
And this will be deleted when you start blogging – you will “edit” to create the first entry yourself!!!! :):)
xoxo K
Upon reading this my eyes are filled with tears and my heart is spilling over with love. THAT’S MY DAUGHTER!!!!!
omg….a beautiful tribute….from your three beautiful girls….to their beautiful mom!! i love you tone…
Toni … I don’t know your journey to this point but I am AWED at Spirit’s presence in this relative to the journey your pod is taking through the Exercises! We are at the point of making a choice for Christ … and at this moment this blog is born! It is truly God’s call to you to extend this gift to other women! I am truly, truly awed at God’s work and timing! As someone said in a comment, the Glory of God is indeed WOMAN fully alive! CELEBRATE! And a happy 60th to you too!
What a beautiful gift honoring your heart, faith and love. Created with love by your girls. How perfect!!!! And the “go” signal! Love it and love you, girlfriend!
Love you, too!!!
Oh, Toni! I am so happy for you. I remember when you first talked to me about this years ago. It is wonderful that you have not given up on your vision and look what it has turned in to. God bless you and that wonderful family of yours.
Thank you for your encouragement….and for your example, friend… Love you…
Wow Toni, thank you for sharing this heartwarming gift. I feel fortunate to know u and your beautiful family thru u. You are a gift to the people that surround you.
Toni, I knew you had something special when you performed so beautifully with the Youngstown Symphony and covered their “slip”. You had an uncanny – Spiritual- point of contact which guided you. Perhaps you knew it
then, but did not fully recognize it. Now I believe you do.
With me, it is the Holy Spirit, and sometimes is very “Spooky”. Hold on to IT and your contact will grow.
Love, SMD
Thank you, Sister Mary Daniel! I will definitely hold on to IT. And also, I continue to see how your example has influenced me – and not just musically! I know that you are blessing many through your life….
Sending you much love….
P.S. My memory has slipped about that “slip”!
Toni, happy 60th birthday!!! Your beautiful daughters are testimony to the beautiful person you are! I am so moved by what you are doing and look forward to continually following beWARM blog. You have an inner peace that emits such an aura and beWARM is a perfect vehicle for you to spread your wisdom and beauty!
Much love,
Susie
Our daughters do enrich our lives – and yours reflect your beauty and gentle spirit. Aren’t we so blessed?
I made it all the way back to the start. I think I have a bit of that remorse you get when you have watched all of the back episodes of a favorite new tv show. Now I have to just wait for each new ‘episode’:) I’m so thankful for you, Toni. For your vision to reach for more, in community with other women. For your desire to share yourself with younger women. For that giant and beautiful heart your daughters know so well. And for their willingness to share you with the rest of the world through this blog. And what sweet timing to go back and read your first posts from over three years ago, the very week that I have started my blog. Your support to me has been invaluable, and it was fun to experience your beginnings of beWarm here too. Love you lots, sweet friend.
Dear Lauren… I can barely find the words to express my humble gratitude – for your warm and loving friendship, your encouragement, and for taking the time to read back to the beginning! I trust that the Holy Spirit will continue to guide both of us in our efforts to reflect the love of God to others. And look forward to reading the future outpourings of your heart! Much love to you….
